The suitcase with the 7905 portraits of Benjamin Franklin in it is stirring up a lot trouble for Nestor Kirchner, Hugo Chavez, and their lackeys. Venezuelan-American pudgy-boy Guido Alejandro Antonini Wilson, who apparently got filthy rich after Hugo Chavez became the elected dictator of Venezuela, is located precisely at the center of a spiderweb of oil money, payoffs, leftist fascist politics, arms dealing, drug running and money laundering. What has not been mentioned yet publicly is that he may be involved in the subversion of governments. There is an international detention order on him, and he and some of his associates are on the worldwide alert list used to track terrorist and drug running groups. Consider:
- A company in Venezuela, called "Defensa y Tecnologia," is registered in his name as a company dedicated to the "sale, distribution, import and export of military and police armament." One of Hugo Chavez's major initiatives is to arm Venezuela to the teeth. He has also armed his civilian political followers in the neighborhoods of the country, forming block committees on the pattern of Cuba's block committees. No one does anything without some armed fink watching. Some of these civic-minded people have been seen on CNN firing 9mm pistols into crowds.
- As noted, one of his partners, Wladimir Abad, owns Abad Air, which has made frequent flights between Venezuela, Miami, and the Turks and Caicos, a Caribbean money laundering haven. Abad, like Antonini, seems to be fascinated with the ease of starting a US company and has set up at least a dozen, none of which seem to have an address or employees.
- Antonini Wilson has traveled frequently with PDVSA officials, and his last stay in Uruguay, at the Radisson, was paid for by PDVSA, Chavez's personal state oil company. He has attended preliminary negotiations for Chavez-Kirchner agreements on energy and finance, which were also attended by Claudio Uberti, the Kirchner fund-raiser and go-between for Chavez.
- Luis D'Elia, Kirchner's personal pit bull, leader of one of the largest piquetero groups, and former Kirchner government official, said the other day that this whole thing was set up by the CIA; he seemed to be serious. Yesterday he admitted to the press that Chavez has been financing his piqueteros, whose activities include blockading major bridges and thoroughfares and contributing to the atmosphere of lawlessness in Buenos Aires, now toned down because of the upcoming elections, but available at the whim of Nestor Kirchner. They are sort of a low-rent, uneducated version of Hitler's brown shirts. So now we know that money for subversion and civil disorder in Argentina comes directly from Chavez, who D'Elia referred to as "CompaƱero" (comrade).
- Antonini Wilson is part of a group of 35 - 45 year-old "businessmen" who have gotten rich under Chavez, and all hang out together. One of them is Ricardo Fernandez Barruecos, owner of American Food Grains; Wladimir Abad is the company secretary. One of AFG's planes was detained by the US DEA May 17 of this year. There are several members of the group, all rolling in dough, and all connected to PDVSA and Chavez. Abad, a big Chavista, drove around Caracas during the run-up to the recall campaign with a big red "NO!" sticker on his brand-new Ferrari, indicating his support for Chavez.
- After having his money confiscated at the airport, Antonini Wilson split from Buenos Aires like a scalded rat, to Montevideo, whence he lit out for parts known only to CompaƱero Chavez, who is keeping mum on the whole suitcase affair. There is a rumor that he may be in the US witness protection program, getting ready to sing for his supper.
So this guy Antonini Wilson has direct connections to contraband cash, arms, drug runners, and leftist politicians in Venezuela and Argentina. It has been alleged that Chavez has sent money and weapons to the FARC in Colombia, and it is public knowledge that he has spent over $30 billion US trying to influence elections in several countries, winning some, losing some. Is it much of a stretch to think that Chavez fixers like Antonini Wilson have been running drugs, money, guns and cash under Chavez's orders? Where have they been going?
Julio Devido, Kirchner's right hand man, has to have known what was going on, because Uberti, who invited Antonini Wilson on the plane, takes his orders from Julio, "the cashier". Those familiar with the K government say that nothing happens without Julio's knowledge and approval. Nestor Kirchner has spent his career building his personal power at the expense of Argentine political and social institutions. He comes from a province of 300,000 people, backward and isolated, but with oil. Maybe these backwoods boys may have gotten mixed up in some things they should have left alone. Picture Noriega; picture Saddam Hussein.
In a way, Santa Cruz province resembles Arkansas. It's as if the governor of a small backward state like Arkansas, with a lust for power and money, somehow became President of the United States, never having gotten a majority of the votes, and brought his backwoods corruption with him to Washington.
Oh, sorry, I guess that already happened.
